Underwater New York Reading at the Waterpod

On Sunday, September 20, Mary Mattingly’s Waterpod project hosted an Underwater New York reading while it was docked at the World’s Fair Marina in Queens. Authors Apryl Lee, Aldina Vazao Kennedy, David Ciminello, Ella Mei Yon Biggadike, Megan Gilbert, Nicki Pombier Berger, Nicole Haroutunian, Nicole Miller, and Sara Weiss read work from their UNY stories over the roar of LaGuardia airplanes. The Waterpod roosters crowed their approval!
